Welcome
Worcester Warriors are pleased to have formally submitted their application to the Rugby Football Union (RFU) to join the new Tier 2 League.
Junction 6 Limited, the new owners of Worcester Warriors, are excited to share the vision of Sixways Stadium’s enhancement and redevelopment. This represents another important milestone in our ongoing commitment to return to competitive rugby at Sixways and to building a sustainable future for the club.
The Mission
The first of our missions is to build a genuinely sustainable rugby club and business.
The development of land around Sixways Stadium is essential to delivering that.
The club requires revenue streams beyond rugby, which can only be delivered by providing outstanding conference and events facilities, alternative sports uses, such as padel, new premium concourse seating and hospitality, and non-game day stadium events.
Our proposal provides complimentary uses at Sixways to enliven the area and provide the capital necessary to ensure the long-term success of Warriors.
The Proposals
Junction 6 have been working in conjunction with BNP Paribas Real Estate, Hadfield Cawkwell Davidson, BWB and EDP to develop these new proposals for Sixways Stadium.
We are working closely with Wychavon District Council, Worcestershire County Council and other public authorities to ensure that our proposals for rejuvenating Sixways not only meet the highest standards but also align with the community’s aspirations.
Our Vision For The Site
As Worcester Warriors aspire to re-join professional rugby, we are proposing the redevelopment of Sixways Stadium and the surrounding area to create a destination for sport, entertainment, health and wellbeing.
Meet The Team
As part of our consultation, we will host an in-person event, where you can meet the team, learn more about our proposals, have any questions answered and provide feedback on the proposals.
The feedback received during the consultation is essential in shaping our plans, to reflect the needs and wants of the Worcester Warriors’ community, and the wider region.
